Néstor Delgado founded the company in 1978, taking his first steps in the construction industry under the name "Code". With a clear vision of growth and professionalization, in 2006 the company was re-founded as Construcciones Delgado, C.A. (CODECA), consolidating the goal of delivering comprehensive engineering and construction solutions for the country's industrial, oil and power sectors.

The company is re-founded and formally established in Ciudad Ojeda, Zulia State, as Construcciones Delgado, C.A. (CODECA), with a broad scope of engineering, civil construction, electrical works and maintenance services for the industrial, oil and power sectors.
Construction of aqueducts, sewer repair and repaving in several sectors of the Lagunillas Municipality, plus emergency collector replacement work.
Participation in a 10,000-unit housing infrastructure project in San Carlos, Cojedes State.
Civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation works for Zaramella & Pavan on the Falcón–Zulia Supply Pipeline (SUFAZ) and its T-47 electrical substation.
Transformer maintenance for PDVSA Gas at the Bajo Grande Fractionation Plant, perimeter fencing at the ULE Plant, breaker relocation for CORPOELEC, and road rehabilitation for Centro Rafael Urdaneta.
CODECA remains registered with the National Contractor Registry and in good standing with SENIAT, IVSS, INCES and BANAVIH, ready for new bids.
